Having not visited or planning on visiting any of the National Parks in Namibia, I start to think that seeing anything besides baboons and boars was going to be impossible. While driving between Windhoek and Swakopmund, one of the fellow passengers spotted this little giraffe on the side of the road. How he spotted it, I don’t know, because even when we turned around and drove by again, I didn’t see anything. It wasn’t until we pulled over right in front of it that I saw this giraffe eating from the small tree. I snapped off a few photos, then it decided to turn and look directly at us. The most interesting part to me, besides the look on its face, is the almost identical line on both the giraffes back/neck and the hill and tree behind it. Though not the best photo of a giraffe, it is the best I could have hoped for considering the situation.
